Humble Coconut

By Bharul Chhatbar

Contributory Author for Spark Igniting Minds

Since hundreds of years humbly I stand

Rearing, bearing fruits of life

My fruits divine, sacred, grand

Always purely offered in the shrine!

Time after time with worthful duties

I swing gladly on coastal ridges

Flurring wonderful canopies

Though fully useful, yet underrated!

Then came pandemic, I rose to fame

My water nurturing mankind like nectar

Willingly as always I serve without any game

My virtue now, COCONUT is my name!
