"Letter from Spring…!,"
O’ dear Spring ; received your letter,
Wafting in the breeze; it came to me,
Like the fragrance of wet soil; love of nature,
Like the twanging sound of falling rain drops,
Like the chirps of birds,
Like the soft touch of dust
Of fagun the season; your secret messenger...!
Wasn’t it wrapped in a crimson modar,
Yours very dear this red flower,
Blooms on the thorny leafless branch,
When all are dry and withered,
Like the rebellious daughter of nature,
Isn’t it your secret messenger…?
Dear spring,
I am reading your words now,
So fresh like budding twigs full of promises,
Your every verse dripped in dreams and desires,
As if the fiery clouds with its swollen belly,
At the brink of giving birth to hope,
For its lover; the Earth…!
How do you know about all?
I kept inside my heart; secretly in my eyes…!
Eagerly we wait for spring sun to rise,
Indeed you are very dear to all
Who believe in love and life,
To see the beauty of soul; the beauty in nature,
After bearing a long dry and sad winter,
Waiting, contemplating near the fire,
It may be a fire of stomach or broken heart
Who knows...!
Knitting their thoughts as if a sweater
To warm up when it is cold,
To meet spring, all are in a hope.
Dear spring, your letter is laden with,
All the art of love you weave…!
Like a poetry that born under the starry night,
In the warmth of two lovers,
In the pages of silvery moonlight
Tickling the forbidden verses,
You sprinkle
The colours of rainbow in their eyes,
Let me feel the rain of new skies,
Feeling of first rain of spring in your words lies,
And I open my wings like a bud of rose
Little shy and little lust for new creation,
Nature does cherish life with each season goes...!
