Perspective

And then the poet said,

There is that heart -

Beating with hurt and pain,

Of separation from the beloved.

His heart bleeds like the rain,

He seemed so wan and faded.

His heart cries to be loved again,

Despite feeling crushed and jaded.

And then the medic said,

There is that heart-

Beating with stress and pain,

It is an angina, making him pant,

And was ordered an angio with stain.

He could only at fate, curse and rant;

His love to live gives courage again,

Hoping for stents and not transplant!
