Swans wade for a party

By Sahana Sundar

Founder - Spark Igniting Minds

For a party in the stream let bank,

A bevy of swans without any hank,

Enticed and dressed, waded through water,

Reached the party much much later,

Sun brushed its rays that scorched their heads,

The ribbon on the dress wrapped them tight,

They dipped their heads, now and then,

Deep and Down in waters of dirt,

Their tiny white dress splattered with mud,

With dirt n Mire, they lost their charm,

They waded and waded to dance and dine,

The time went up and sun dipped down,

Eventually they reached the spot at the bank,

Everything over they had to turn their backs,

The bevy of swans hungry and angry,

Jumped on water and splashed their wings,

Now on their way to their sweet sweet homes,

Decided not to have any more parties, and any more dance!
