चिमणी चटकली टोचून खिडकी चा काच,
सांगितले पूर्ण जगाचा साच,
ऐकले तिच लावून कान,
म्हणाली ती खूप छान,
न्याय कधी मागल्याने मिळणार नाही,
जर हक्काची लढ लढणार नाही,
जगभर उडून मिळतो कोपरा,
लागेल उद्या शोध दुसरा,
वाटतं जगाला उडून जाणं सोपं,
कठीण असतं आमचं झोप,
पोट भरते दाणे शोधून रोज,
अवघड आहे ते पण, नाही मौज,
शिकून आली जगण्याची वाटचाल,
बदलून माझ्या अभिप्राय चा ताल,
ऐकाला गेलो खुर्ची सरकून सर-सर,
उडाली चिमणी फुर-फुर!
