એ તો પ્રેમ છે,
કરે ઘણી હદો પાર,
તોય ન સમજાય તેનો સાર,
માતા-પુત્ર નો શું કરી જાય,
પિતા-પુત્રી નો કેમ કહેવાય,
પતિ-પત્ની ખૂબ પરખાય,
લોક તેને જ તો સરખાય,
માનવી ક્યારે થાય સમીપ,
ઝળહળી ઉઠે પ્રકાશ દીપ,
દોર તેની કહેવાય હમેશાં કાચી,
તોય તે જ મનાય સાચી,
નથી તેમાં જીત કે હાર,
તેમાં જ છે સત્ય પુરવાર,
આપે અનહદ કદી કષ્ટ,
કરી પણ દે તે કદી નષ્ટ,
મસ્તિષ્ક કરે તે બંધ,
દિલ તો છે અંધ,
કરો કેટલી પણ અવગણા,
છે તે ઈશ્વરી નજરાણા,
જન્મ-મૃત્યુ વચ્ચે નો છે તાર,
આજીવન છે તે જ આધાર,
ઝાલી રાખજો એ તાર,
તરી જશો મઝધાર,
સાહેબ, છે જ અનેરી પ્રેમ લીલા!
